Great place! We walked down the very sturdy staircase and spent time swimming and fishing in the river. We shopped and ate at all the cute spots in Gruene (walkable, but we took the car, free and easy parking). We had both fireplaces going while we grilled and the living spaces were spacious and comfortable. Beds and baths were appointed beautifully. We would stay here again!

Absolutely incredible is the best way to describe our stay! Location to town couldn't have been any better, and the home was beyond beautiful. This place is beautifully decorated and felt home-y from our first step inside. The kitchen in VERY well stocked and we appreciated having shampoo, conditioner and body wash available in all the showers. I'm already asking other friends to book with me because we'd love to experience it in the Summer and enjoy the river which is just a stairway away from the patio. Wow!
